Inès de La Fressange
Inès Marie Lætitia Églantine Isabelle de Seignard de La Fressange
The famous model, elegance-symbol, was born in 1957 to a family of aristocrats. Her father, is no other than the Marquess André de Seignard de La Fressange while her mother is Cecilia Sánchez Cirez, an Argentine model. She grew up in an 18th-century mill outside Paris with three brothers. In the 1980s, she became the first model to sign an exclusive modeling contract with an haute couture fashion house, Chanel, by fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Linda Christian
(Image from New York Social Diary)
The beautiful Linda Christian married the dashingly dishy Tyrone Power (my first crush) in Rome Italy in January 1949. Wearing a beautifully fitting gold damask gown made of fifty yards of satin, seventy yards of lace and two thousand pearls (I so wish these images were in colour, it sounds divine), by Madame Fontana, one of Italy’s top designers; and an exquisite juliet cap veil, in a very traditional catholic ceremony – despite the groom’s previous marriage.
